*Explanation*
The sport we practise – roller derby – is a full contact sport. This means we make contact with most of our body. On an ovale track, two teams fight against each other; each team has a person who can score points. She does this by passing players from the other team. Each team has four players on the track that will try to withhold the other team from doing so. And all of this on skates (traditional quad skates, the one with four wheels!).

It may sound pretty intense, but that is why there are a bunch of rules so that everything will go fair and safe. The only way to really find out how this all works is by seeing it! So bring that curiosity along!
