1. When and how did you get started in derby?
I first started with Rec.Attack to learn how to skate. And now I m already 2 years with go go ghent but i was a Freshie for a long time. Now I m almost a year a Cub.

2. What’s been your favourite derby moment?
My favoriet derby moment was when I played my first tournament:SOG 2015. It was great to feel the team working together!

3. Who are your derby heroes?
Everybody in our team is my hero!

4. How did you pick your derby name?
I didn t pick my name myself. It was chosen for me and I really like it! I helped organize SKOD 2015 and in the booklet with the thank you note was my derby name printed: Joye Ride! Chosen by Fever and the rest of the organizing crew!

5. What’s your worst injury?
That was when i received a couple of hits during RTG 2015. I fell on the ground and couldn t breath anymore for a couple of seconds. Didn’t last that long and didn’t have any troubles later on because of it. But there was a nice picture of me flying in the air…

6. What advice would you give to someone who would like to play derby?
Just start and don’t be scared to fall!

7. If I wasn’t playing derby, I’d be…
… I’d be superwoman

8. One word to describe GO-GO Gent:
Awesome!
